Publicist: Karen Whynot - e-mail
It was about 8 years ago when I had my acting debut and about 7 &˝ years ago I realised my place was behind the scenes. I LOVE the theatre and have been spending my time stage managing for SSP and directing an annual dinner theatre with my own little troupe. I am new to the publicity end of theatre but I plan to jump in with both feet and hope I don’t land in a puddle. |

Sets: Dave Brumwell - e-mail
Joined SSP in 2005, when he made his acting debut in ‘A Christmas Carol'. Since then Dave has appeared in ‘Gentlemen of Fortune' and ‘The Grand Old Duke of York' where to his surprise he was asked to play the pantomime Dame, ‘Martha Muffett'. Dave is also a member of ‘Have a Laugh Players', a dinner theatre group.
After playing the part of Martha Muffett, he admits that any dignity he may have once had, will now be gone for good.
Dave has also written South Shore Players 2007 Christmas production ‘Desmond the Despicable' . It is a semi Pantomime / Musical, interlaced with magic and fantasy, with some amazingly outlandish characters.
Although a native of the UK, Dave and his wife Sue now love living in Mahone Bay and run ‘Bluestone Magik' and ‘The Enchanted Crystal' gift shops in the town.

Website nerd: Tim Perry Wagner - e-mail
Tim Perry Wagner flew to these Atlantic shores in 2003. Since then he's performed in several productions with the South Shore Players as well as several Dinner Theatres in Bridgewater and Mahone Bay. Recently, the jerk moved to Halifax and will find it increasingly difficult to make auditions with all the driving. But that doesn't stop him! Tim will still be with us to administer the web site. |
